Safety:
The use of ultraviolet light for aqueous microbiological disinfection has decades of proven performance in municipal and rural potable water sources across North America and the World. The OZONE Generating System uses many of the same basic components to expand this technology into a primary treatment source for your pool and spa. Its ozone generating lamp is enclosed in a sealed stainless steel chamber. A visual LED power indicator light and audible alarm is a standard feature on all units. Both features help to ensure positive personal protection. Your pool or spa will positively sparkle!!

How it works:
Ozone, an effective oxidizing agent is produced inside a sealed generating chamber. As air is drawn through the chamber, molecules of oxygen recombine to create Ozone. Ozone oxidizes contaminants very quickly and leaves harmless precipitates which are collected in the equipment filter. Ozone naturally dissipates back into pure oxygen in approximately 20 minutes.

Maintenance:
Keep the UV lamp clean, free of dust or other air contaminants and make sure that the unit is on and functioning. An increase in bather load in the spa or pool can affect the amount of ozone needed. To remedy, simply adjust the air control valve on the spa to increase the ozone supply.

Installation:
There are various methods of installing an ozone unit. Optional installation kits are available from your supplier. The methods of installation are covered more fully in the installation and maintenance manual which come with your ozone generator.

Warranty:
The Ozone by Sterilight ozone generators have a one year warranty on bonifide manufacturing defects. The stainless steel generating chamber has a 5 year warranty on manufacturing defects.
