UV Disinfection Systems in Fish Farms

One of the biggest problem of the fish farms is the risk of disease in stock.

In some case, pathogens can create enormous problems which can cause the complete shutdown of a facility , causing financial loss.


Ultraviolet disinfection systems are the easiest treatment method to protect fish farms from disease

 risk, targeted pathogen can be effectively eradicated or controlled.

UV rays don't produce any harmful effects in fact they don't change the physical characteristics of the treated water and don't create by-products like some other chemicals product do. This avoids the expense of complex monitoring systems involved in adding and removing chemicals before water reaches the fish.


The most common organism that are responsible for the fish disease are:
